But I still have a fondness for this material, much of which was created by dragging paper through a broken but resilient old printer.
Here’s a bit of an update. I’ve been mostly spinning my wheels and going nowhere on a lot of things, but this final got some traction today. I’m designing an Iron Man 3 poster. Before you guess he’s looking at himself, let me assure you the portrait and clouds will be pushed back in value.

Halloween Night Collages by Patrick Seymour
For me growing up back when I was but a wee clone, Halloween night was about exploring my curiosity about makeup and watching marathons of the Friday the 13th movies. Jason’s a merman, right? I’ve been using my duck-dictator (ducktator) character for my character design class. I got some good feedback on what works and what doesn’t for animation, then was assigned to do 20 silhouettes of potential body types.
A good character should be immediately recognizable by their silhouette— their shapes and proportions and how they carry themselves.
Hats are important, too.
